10 SMOOTHIE RECIPES

I love to just add spinach to any of these recipes when I want a little veggie boost. Spinach is very mild and doesn’t alter the base flavor. Another tip is to add chia seeds, flax seeds or some pea or soy protein for a nutritional boost.

BANANA SPICE
2 bananas, 1/2 cup each soft tofu and almond milk, 2 teaspoons aguava, a pinch of cinnamon, allspice, cyan pepper and 1 cup ice.

BANANA BERRY
Blend 1 banana, 1/2 strawberries, 1/2 cup blueberries, 1 cup  almond milk, 2 teaspoons aguava, a pinch of cinnamon and 1 cup ice.

BLUEBERRY MUFFIN
Blend 2 cups blueberry, 1 cup vegan blueberry muffin crumbles, 1 1/2 cups each almond milk and ice, and stevia to taste. Top with blueberry.

SO BERRY GOOD
1 1/2 cups mixed blackberries, strawberries and raspberries with 1 cup each almond milk and ice, and stevia to taste.

RASPBERRY BARET
1 cup each orange juice and raspberries, 1/2 cup soft tofu, 1 cup ice, and stevia to taste.

BANANA PEACH TANGO
1 cup each chopped fresh or frozen peaches and mango, 1 cup each soft tofu and ice, 1/2 banana, 1/2 cup almond milk and stevia to taste.

HONEYDEW-ALMOND
Blend 2 cups chopped honeydew melon, 1 cup each almond milk and ice, and aguava to taste.

SPICY APPLE CARROT 
1 cup carrots, 1 apple, pinch cyan pepper, pinch cinnamon, 1 cup almond milk with 1 cup ice.

GINGER PEACH BENDER
2 cups frozen sliced peaches, 1 1/2 cup almond milk, 3 tablespoons stevia (sugar substitute) and 1 tablespoon grated fresh ginger.

SHAKE MY CHAI CHAI
1 1/2 cups chai tea concentrate with 1 cup each coconut milk and ice. add stevia to taste (optional)
Sprinkle with ground cinnamon.
